New Photos of our Latest Project

Our clients, Steve and Sharon have a wonderful sense of style, and it was a great joy to come and design their home for Christmas. Blending classical Christmas elements with rustic charm, Victorian elegance and a bit of whimsy, we created a beautiful Holiday Home. Check out all our pictures below.

This is a centerpiece for the Dining Table. A mix of large Canadian Rocky pine adorned with berries and thistles settle into a hand-hewned bowl. Simplistic, rustic and elegant.

Tips to Make Your Holidays Magical

1. Start by choosing your theme and color scheme.
  • Choose schemes that appeal to your personal style and emotions.
  • Try to limit your color palette to 3 colors to start, and don't over complicate. Remember that when choosing a color scheme: less is really more.
  • Popular Trends this season include: Chocolate & Lime; Creamy White & Antique/Patina Silver. Gold is also back when mixed with organic browns and rusted reds and glitter.
2. Repeat your theme throughout your home.
  • From your front door to your dinner table, every detail should carry some element of your theme and color scheme.
  • Inspiration for your theme can come from objects (pinecones), locations (cabin in the woods) or even events (like vacations.)
3. Play holiday music all season long, and don't forget the scent of cinnamon and fresh greenery. This audible "decoration"can make a big difference, and will help your home feel peaceful and merry.

4. Speaking of fresh greenery: while its not always cost effective or practical to have a real tree each year (not to mention earth-friendly) you can use fresh greenery for your garland and wreaths. Nothing beats the authentic look and smell of fresh cut pine.

5. Lushly layer your table settings and centerpieces for your dining table. More is better when staging your table for yuletide celebrations.
